About Us

Fatherland Estate is situated just outside Brits, only 40km from the Hartbeespoort Dam.

It is a tranquil paradise, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but still conveniently situated an hours drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria or Rustenburg.

Our wedding venue offers gorgeous views of the Magaliesberg mountains and the pure Northwest bushveld. Our lushes green garden surrounds our venue complete with rose, lavender gardens and a wooden lounge deck overlooking our dam. Our citrus orchard and horse stables ensure for unique photographs.

Donkeys and farm animals contribute to this idyllic picture offering opportunities for extraordinary wedding photographs. We have a wide range of birdlife offering our guest a tranquil opportunity for viewings without interruptions.

Our dam is a catch and release facility and offers guest a variety of fresh water fish like Bass, Carps, Barber but to name a few.

We have a breath-taking venue and chapel at Fatherland that can accommodate weddings from 50 to 300 guests. Our venue will be yours exclusively for the weekend. Have your ceremony in our chapel or on our wooden deck overlooking the dam or in the heart of our bushveld. Our spacious reception hall will ensure that your reception is unforgettable and our friendly team will make sure your day is memorable to you and all your guests.

If you are a person that enjoys a bit more space, comfort and luxury our rooms have been designed with you in mind.

Selected rooms are ideally suited for families or twin rooms as the lounge area can be re-arranged to accommodate an extra day bed.
